Axespresso: Axespresso Open Mic happens this Friday! This will be our last open mic of the year, so if you perform, or if you just want to hang out and watch the performances, come check us out! Music, poetry, dance, theatre, comedy – anything goes. See you there!
Student Government: It’s Flower Power Day for Mental Health week. When coping with mental health, you should always try to find something that makes you happy. What better than flowers?! Tomorrow you can buy flowers before school and during lunch to show your appreciation for someone you care about! Also, after school tomorrow enjoy snow cones and ice cream outside.
Spring Fest is tomorrow! So come on down to the Science Courtyard for some food, Jamba Juice, games, and live music! Tomorrow, Spring Fest at lunch!
Reminder that all posters and flyers must be approved in the Main Office. Please bring them by Heather Stein’s office for the new stamp and direction to the appropriate bulletin boards.
Applications are now available in the Front Office for class elections! Please fill out applications and have teacher recommendations in by today. There will be an informational meeting rescheduled to Monday, May 28th during lunch in Chad Kessler’s room #113.
Cheerleading: Pizza in room 105 today at lunch for those interested in Cheerleading for the upcoming year! Don’t forget to sign up in the office! Go Axe!
GSA: GSA is hosting a movie night this Friday, May 25th. We will be watching Geography Club in room 304 and 306 from 6:30-9PM and having a discussion after. There will be pizza and drinks provided. See you there!
Animal Welfare Society: Would you like to help animals but don’t have time to volunteer? Animal Welfare Society has created a drive for pets! This week, bring any pet supplies to the bin in the Front Office. Anything is appreciated!
Clubs: Clubs meeting today during lunch are Feminist Union in room 714, Animal Welfare Society in room 418, and Math Club in room 724. Homework Club meets after school in room 413.
Students: Are you interested in helping welcome incoming freshmen to South? Become a Peer Navigator! We are looking for 15 dynamic juniors to lead freshman students through decision-making activities during the August Summer Bridge Program and 45+ friendly, confident freshman, sophomores, or juniors to help orient students on Freshman Day, September 4th. An information meeting is scheduled forThursday, May 31th, 3:45pm-4:15pm in the library. All interested students should attend.
